Sales Position - Mid West Territory - Work Remote
 
Summary:  This is an addition to staff for a well-managed company that is investing in their growth and expanding into new markets with a broad range of products. 
 
Company:  A solutions provider of films, foils and compostable materials for food service, flexible packaging, label and industrial industries with a global presence in the US, India, Korea and China offering multiple products from the latest state of the art plants along with dedicated customer service.  CEO of the company is well established and respected with 30 years’ experience with accounts and suppliers of products to the industry.  
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Generate business with new customers in the assigned sales territory and develop them to corporate accounts.
• Define opportunities for growth in the food service sector of the packaging industry. 
• Build in-depth relationships throughout customers’ organizations.
• Develop a network of independent sales reps in the assigned regions.
• Provide regular weekly, monthly or other assigned reports as requested.
• Represent the Company at trade shows and industry events when required.
 
Requirements:
• Minimum of 15+ years’ experience selling packaging for food service applications. 
• The ideal candidate will have experience in calling on distributors such as Imperial Dade, Sysco, US Fords or selling for the distributors and calling on the Supermarket Chains and / or other companies for to-go containers. 
• Working knowledge of materials utilized in this market.  
• Experience with CRM programs such as Salesforce/Microsoft CRM.
• Demonstrated track record of profitable sales.
• Track record of building in-depth relationships with customers.
• Ability to work remote and meet with customers face to face on a regular basis.
• Motivated and Energetic.  Hunter mentality.  
• Very good in presentation and communication skills. 
 
Education:  BS degree required. Preference will be given to candidates with MBA degree.
