Service Manager
Service Manager - Miami
Job responsibilities:
- The service manager will operate the service department at maximum production, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, setting and obtaining sales objectives and maintaining service records
- Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Serve as a liaison between technicians, the parts dept., and customers
- Distribute work between technicians
- Prioritize required services
- Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience
- Maintain accurate records; execute warranty parts retention, following all OEM requirements
- Take ownership of customers’ experience
- Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
- Lead improvement efforts that support annual goals for service and cost control
- Assure a clean and safe working environment
Must Have Job Requirements:
- 3+ years as a Thermo King or Carrier Service Manager
- Strong diesel repair and reefer background (8+ years)
- A relentless focus on customer satisfaction and follow-up
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and multi-task effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills (Karmak experience preferred)
