| The company develops, manufactures, and markets ingredients and solutions to the food and beverage industry to 100+ countries.
Coordinates and directs the activities of the production department to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality (Statistic Process Control and Lean Manufacturing Projects). Inspects product to verify production specifications are met. Trains and supervises production personnel in a facility of 250 employees. Directly supervises employees in the Production Work Centers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Effectively manages and assigns labor to complete production schedules as efficiently as possible. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations and good manufacturing practices.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assist workers in solving work problems and initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Work with other Supervisors and/or managers to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and maintains time and production records. Recommends measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and quality of product and reduce product loss and suggests change in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
3+ years in a supervisory manufacturing setting. Bachelors degree preferred. |
