Description: Responsibilities: Works and provides leadership on projects including new products, line extensions and new outlets for existing products, which offer profit potential. Support efforts in scaling up products from pilot plant to production, setting operating parameters and tracking variability. Responsible for the planning, scheduling and the managing specific. Research and conducts product development experiments. Provides technical expertise to R&D team for identifying short and long term opportunities. Execution of bench top, pilot plant and full plant scale-up testing. Provides technical knowledge as needed to Operations, QA, Sales and Marketing on product ideas, improved plant efficiencies or quality. Qualifications: BSE in Chemical or Food Engineering or related. 3+ Years?? experience in Shortening and Oil products or related. R&D product development. Critical thinking skills and methodical process, able to bridge from the academic theory of processes to the practical application. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Process knowledge. Project management experience.
