Description: Responsible for planning and controlling all scheduling activities supporting Plant operations. Balances production and inventory levels with demand, inventory turn goals and capacity plant utilization / staffing requirements. Develops Sales & Operating Plan for all products and all packaged SKU??s including demand, inventory and production data. Responsible for raw materials, purchased goods and packaging supplies to meet the schedule. Provide monthly production plans consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast. Manage the day to day movement of products. Strong collaboration with the Refinery and Packaging Managers, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service and Management will be critical to meeting business goals. Reports directly to Plant Manager Qualifications: BSE or technical field. 5+ years?? management and supervisory experience in plant operations. 5+ years in the edible oil industry refining and packaging. Experienced in computer systems. SAP and MRP experience. MRP / ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems. APICS certification desirable. Leadership skills - an accomplished and engaging people leader is a must. Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity and efficiency measurements.
