Description: Responsibilities: Responsible for the planning, scheduling and the managing specific projects. Research & conducts product development experiments. New products, line extensions and new outlets for existing products. Provides internal and external customers with technical assistance. Lay out and execute a research plan with sound research approach. Bridge the academic research to the practical application of commercial production. Responsible for execution of bench top, pilot plant and full plant scale- up testing. Provides technical knowledge to Operations, QA, Sales and Marketing on specific projects, new product ideas, improved product leads. Qualifications: MS in Food Science or Food Engineering. 5+ years of experience in Shortening, Oil, Margarines, Spreads or Dairy. R&D product development. Good ingredient functionality knowledge. Project management experience. Relationship experience with customers from an R&D perspective. |
